Celina Cabrina Michael

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Celina Cabrina Michael, 43, who passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Celina was born in New Iberia, Louisiana to Vernella Roberts Michael and the late Sydney Michael. She was a social worker in Child Protection Child Development Services for over 10 Years and was a member of Christ Center Church S.I.S.T.E.R.S. Celina was always a devoted “twin mother,” a loving and caring aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and a loving sister.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Symone Michael; mother, Vernella Michael; brother, Brandon Michael; and her sister, Maxine Michael.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sydney Michael; maternal grandparents, Celine and Samuel Roberts Sr.; paternal grandparents, Agnes and Walter Michael; and her nanny, Anna Bell Guidry.
