Carl Weber

Lafayette – Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Carl Weber, 60, who died on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at his residence in Grand Prairie.
Deacon Reggie Bollich conducted the memorial services.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Frances Weber; two sisters, Mary Alice Lutz of New Orleans, and Mrs. Cynthia Sibitsky of Hoslet, Texas; two step-sisters, Miki Bacque and Anne Randon; three step-brothers, Dr. J.T. Gillespie of Lafayette, Dr. Patrick Gillespie of Washington, La. and Christopher Gillespie of Ridgefield, Conn.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, the former Mary Alice Stansbury; and one brother, Earl Weber II of Nina.
Carl Weber was a native of Lafayette and followed his passion living in the Atchafalaya Basin. He attended Lafayette High School, T.H. Harris Technical School and worked at various construction jobs in the Lafayette area. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid reader, accordion player, and enjoyed cooking with friends. He was especially devoted to his godchild, Meagan Andrepont, and nephew, Sonny Weber of Nina.
