Beverly F. Hebert

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Beverly Frederick Hebert, 74, who passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.

A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. on Saturday by Deacon Butch Hebert.

Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Karen Hebert and Jaelyn Hebert. Gift Bearers will be her grandchildren. 

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge. 

Beverly was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a local Rosary group, Heart Strings and Angel Wings, and the Jaycees Women’s Club. She was retired from CenturyTel (now CenturyLink Telecommunications), where she worked as a customer service representative for many years.

After her retirement, she then spent many hours working alongside her husband, Hayworth, at their finance company in Breaux Bridge, Bevco.

Beverly volunteered her time for many years at St. Bernard Catholic School as an assistant in the front office. As a pastime, she loved cooking, working in her flowerbeds, going to the casino, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Beverly will be fondly remembered for her loving and caring heart, her generosity and willingness to help others in need, and her immense love she had for her family. 

She is survived by her husband, Hayworth Hebert; daughter, Sharelle Thibodeaux (Todd); son, Todd Hebert (Karen);  grandchildren, Brett Hebert (Jaelyn), Zach Thibodeaux, Ana Thibodeaux and Alec Roy; and her great grandchildren, Myles Hebert and Keely Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Theresa Thibodeaux Frederick; and her brother, Howard Frederick.

Pallbearers will be Brett Hebert, Zach and Todd Thibodeaux, Byron Blanchard, Lew Sonnier and Guy Vincent.

Honorary pallbearer will be Myles Hebert.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Warren Degatur, Hospice of Acadiana, Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home, and St. Agnes Healthcare and Rehab, for the compassionate care given to Beverly during her time of need.
