Bertha Mae Mitchell

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Bertha Mae Mitchell, 79, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at New Iberia Manor North.
Visiting hours will be observed at Notre Dame Church from 7 a.m. until funeral service on Friday.
Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Carol) Colomb; sons, Darrell and Maxie B. Mitchell; sisters, Rose Mitchell, Ida Mitchell, Lillia Mitchell Clement and Janzina Thibodeaux; brothers, Horace Lewis and Ervin Mitchell; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
