Annie ‘Anna’ Broussard

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Annie “Anna” Broussard, 69, who passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Anna enjoyed cooking, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle smile, and as the sweet lady that walked every day to the Circle K to get her a large Pepsi and visiting with the cashiers. Anna will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Francis Louis Broussard Sr.; daughters, Tina L. Broussard of Rayne, and Christina M. Babineaux and husband Edrick Jr. of Breaux Bridge; sons, Francis L. Broussard Jr. of Baton Rouge, and Joseph C. Broussard of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Kristle A. Daigle, Paul J. Richard, Marlena M. Broussard, Taylor N. Broussard, Shawn L. Boutte, Lillian A. Babineaux, Stephanie R. Broussard, Frances E. Broussard, Alton R. Babineaux and Julian L. Broussard; great-grandchildren, twins Kaymine and Kqmine Leger, Emilee G. Richard and Hunter Richard; brother, Clinton Richard; and sisters, Jane Lantier and husband Clinton, and Judy Royer and husband Lucien (Black).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis M. and Louise McBride Richard.
Pallbearers were Francis L. Broussard Jr., Joseph C. Broussard, Paul J. Richard, Shawn L. Boutte, Mark Boutte and Michael Babineaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
