Anna Lou C. Huval

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Anna Lou C. Huval, 80, who passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 40 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Monday, and continued on Tuesday fromt 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed by Deacon Ken Soignier at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial. Reader was Patrick Huval. Gift bearers were her grandchildren.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Anna was a member of the St. Joseph Choir in Parks, a home bound Eucharist Minister and a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was a selfless woman with a caring heart that was always there for anyone who needed, such as visiting the sick, volunteering at church, or just willing to serve wherever her help was needed.
Anna enjoyed crocheting and traveling. Most importantly, spending time and being with her family was her favorite. She was a devoted wife of 32 years, a mother, a grandmother and a friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, George O’Neil Huval Jr. (Wendy) and Adrian Huval (Laura); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Huval, Katherine Huval, Nate Huval and Rex George Huval.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George O’Neil Huval Sr.; and parents, Antoine and Marie Anna Hulin Champagne.
Pallbearers were George O’Neil Huval Jr., Adrian Huval, Mike Martin, Russell Champagne, Adam Champagne and Tommy Huval.
Honorary pallbearers were Nate Huval, Rex George Huval, Patrick Huval, William Huval, Leo “Pope’ Huval, Shannon Huval and Dale Huval.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
