Alvin J. Guidry

Cecilia – A Funeral Service was held on Friday, Feb. 16, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Alvin “AJ” Joseph Guidry, 79, who passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at The Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bertha Bergeron Guidry; sons, Lonnie, Kevin and Aaron Guidry; brothers, John and Ray V. Guidry; sisters, Elaine Chaisson, Marion Patin and Mrs. Douglas (Lou Ella) Courville; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Barry N. Guidry; brothers, Melvin and Norris Guidry; sisters, Rhena G. Dore and Linda G. White; and an infant sister, Marie Guidry.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
