reaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Earl “Pete” Joseph Melancon, 92, who passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma Trahan Melancon; six sons, Michael, Chris, Francis, Mark, Troy and Todd Melancon; daughter, Mrs. Danny (Sally) Comb; sister, Mary A. Melancon; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
