St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, Jan. 20, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Ava Nicole Douet, 14, who passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery. She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Katie Hebert Douet; brothers, Ayden, Alec and Kohen Douet; paternal grandparents, Karl and Gwen Douet; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Frederick; maternal grandfather, Kelly Hebert. Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
