3-20-1959 –11-1-2019 Henderson – Since diagnosed with a brain tumor in August of 2018, Corky lived the majority of that time in Arp, Texas. As per his wishes he donated his body to science. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Corky loved life and his family. He was one of the greatest welders of his time. He also enjoyed hunting, music, dancing, the rain and cooking. He never met a stranger and enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. If you ever encountered him, you will never forget him. He was truly the life of the party! He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Allemond Delahoussaye of Henderson; sons, Corky “T-Boo” Delahoussaye Jr. and Kyle (Brittney) Delahoussaye of Butte LaRose, and Kenneth (Amanda) Delahoussye of Breaux Bridge; a daughter, Hanna Delahoussaye Boutin (Brenton) of Arp, Texas; brothers, Wendall “Papoose” Delahoussaye and Rocky (Sheila) Delahoussaye of Henderson; and a sister, Freda Lynn Delahoussaye of Henderson; grandsons, Landon, Parker, Kylen, Jean Risen and Brenton Jr.; granddaughters, Letitia and Averie; and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by the love of his life and the mother of his children, Letitia Taylor Delahoussaye; his father, Milton Delahoussaye; brothers, Kenneth Delahoussaye and Garrett “Tiger” Delahoussaye Sr.; and a nephew, Brodie Delahoussaye Dekerlagand.
