Georgia was born on January 18, 1944 in Lafayette. She was a woman with a heart as beautiful as her smile. Known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others, she had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. She never complained, always found a reason to smile, and was there to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

An avid quilter, Georgia enjoyed sharing her talents and giving back to her community. She also loved playing Wahoo with her friends. She was also a member of the Mardi Gras Carnival in Catahoula. Throughout the years, she worked as a Beauty Control consultant and at Chez Sidney in the crawfish plant.

Georgia had a special love for butterflies, a fitting reflection of the beauty and joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
