Arleen “Ween” Broussard

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church to celebrate the life of Arleen “Ween” Broussard, 60, who passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from a fierce and aggressive form of cancer, at her residence surround by her family.

Burial will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Broussard; father, William Ray Owen; daughters, Devyn Broussard and Autumn Landry; son, Layton Broussard; five grandchildren; brothers, Ryan Owen and Dwayne Champagne; sisters, Chasity Savoy and Julie Rhodes.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
