Breaux Bridge – A funeral service was held on Oct. 15 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Haywood “Black” Lewis, 89, who died on Oct. 10, 2021.
He is survived by his sisters, Estella L. Henry and Theresa Broussard; brothers, Walter Jr., Irving and Joseph Lewis; and stepchildren, Mrs. Frank (Velicia) LeBlanc and Mrs. Jonathan (Jackie) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lewis.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
