Bridge news – The Sept 17 St. Martin Parish Council Committee meeting was held at the Butte LaRose fire station, the last of the remote-location meetings for 2019. President Chester Cedars reported that, with grant funds now in the bank, it only remains for the bureaucratic wheels to turn a little while longer before a permanent replacement for the pontoon bridge will be a reality.
