Free COVID testing at SM’s city parks

The non-profit organization Community Wellness America has begun providing free COVID testing three days a week at both of the city's parks.
Testing program organizer Brittney Houston received permission at the Jan. 18 St. Martinville City Council meeting to begin drive-through testing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at both Magnolia and Adam Carlson Parks.
Testing will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4 to 8 p.m. 
Residents may choose either the quick test or the more-accurate PCR test, which delivers results in a few days. The program is financed through the federal free testing program.
