St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Louis Hamilton Jones, 70, who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Reginald (Darlene) Lewis, Mrs. Ottis (Jaquelene) Dixon Jr., and Mrs. Keith (Kayla) Mason; son, Kelly Morris; brothers, Daniel Sr. and Amos Linden; sisters, Anna Mae Smith and Edna Mae Linden; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Leatha Mitchell, Ethal Mae Linden, Dorothy Mitchell and Louethel Lasalle; and brothers, Leroy and Joseph Jones, and Raymond Linden.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
