Abortion: A great sin, a great crime. The United State’s Supreme Court reversal of the Roe v Wade case was a giant step in the right to protect the unborn. Still, many individual states in our country continue to exercise their right to this horrific crime against humanity.
We, as Catholic Christians, and all else who have a sense of decency, must do all we can, through prayer, contact people in public office, speak about it, write about it and do all that is at our disposal in efforts to end this infamous act. It is the greatest sin and evil that plagues our great country.
From the newly formed fetus in the womb to the time of birth, this evil is exercised. The most frequent answer: “I have a right to do as I wish with my own body.” That poor excuse has no credence, as do so many others, including the selling of body parts of an infant at time of birth. What a sin! What a crime Let us do all that is in our power to help end this tragedy. Their silent voices are calling. May we hear, listen and respond accordingly. We are the only help they have.
