Average gasoline prices in Louisiana have risen 12.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.87/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,436 stations in Louisiana. Prices in Louisiana are 32.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.13/g higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 31.6 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $6.183 per gallon.
According to Gas-Buddy price reports, the cheapest station in Louisiana was priced at $3.33/g Sunday while the most expensive was $4.99/g, a difference of $1.66/g.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 17.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.25/g today. The national average is up 19.0 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands $1.14/g higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
