I began today thinking I only had one errand and then I could curl up with a book and stay home. Didn’t work out that way.
The people who were scheduled to come to the Belle River Community Center did come, but half an hour after they said they would be there. By that time I had checked on my computer and was surprised to find an invitation to the ribbon cutting for the new sheriff’s substation on Hwy. 70.
Since I apparently had the time, I went to the ribbon cutting and took a few pictures. It was drizzling rain all the time but the new substation was big enough to accomodate pretty much everyone.
