St. Martin Parish Deputy Martha Calais, left, was recognized by Sheriff Beckett Breaux as Enforcement Deputy of the Quarter. Deputy Calais has dedicated nearly 29 years to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and has held a variety of roles throughout her career. She currently serves as a Civil Deputy where she continues to make a positive impact. She is described as someone who “consistently demonstrates compassion, dedication and a servant’s heart. (SMSO)
