Breaux Bridge – St. Martin Parish will be in the national spotlight when an upcoming episode of Discovery Channel’s travel series RV There Yet? airs Sunday, at 7:30 a.m. CT.

Hosts Kevin and Patrice McCabe brought their RV to St. Martin Parish earlier this summer, spending several days exploring the people, places, flavors and experiences that make the area such a unique Louisiana destination.

RV There Yet? takes viewers along as Kevin and Patrice travel across America in search of outdoor adventures, local food, history and memorable experiences. Kevin, a longtime outdoor television producer and adventure seeker, and Patrice, the show’s resident culinary enthusiast, hike, camp and taste their way through each destination while meeting the people who make every stop special.

During their St. Martin Parish visit, filmed May 30 through June 2, Kevin and Patrice experienced a wide variety of what the parish has to offer. Their visit began in Breaux Bridge with Zydeco Breakfast at Buck & Johnny’s before heading to Camp Margaritaville RV Resort, which served as their home base during their stay.

Over the next several days, they traveled throughout St. Martin Parish. They explored the Atchafalaya Basin with Atchafalaya Basin Landing, spent time at Cypress Cove Landing with local musicians Yvette Landry and Jourdan Thibodeaux, and got a firsthand look at the local crawfish industry with Team Voodoo Crawfish Tours. Their visit also included Bayou Teche Brewing and several local restaurants along the way.

The visit wrapped up with a special Camp Night with Cajun RV Eats, where Kevin and Patrice learned how to make a Louisiana Favorite (Gumbo), with a little help from some local experts.

From live music and local flavors to the Atchafalaya Basin, crawfish and outdoor adventure, the visit offered Kevin and Patrice a glimpse into the many experiences and traditions that make St. Martin Parish special.

“Having the RV There Yet? team experience St. Martin Parish was such a fun opportunity for us,” said Laci Laperouse, Executive Director of St. Martin Parish Tourism. “There’s nothing we love more than sharing our Cajun and Creole culture, food, music, and our beautiful outdoors with visitors. We can’t wait for viewers to see what makes us so special and hopefully start planning their own trip to St. Martin Parish.”

The St. Martin Parish episode of RV There Yet? airs Sunday, Aug. 30, at 8:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. CT on Discovery Channel and will also be available to stream the same day on the RV There Yet? website (https://www. rvthereyettv.com/).

The show also has a Youtube channel (https://www.youtube. com/channel/UCge9X74JoMQ9HQX0YR_ sbaA) where episodes can be viewed.

Viewers are encouraged to tune in and follow along as Kevin and Patrice discover why St. Martin Parish is a place where adventure, food, music, and culture come together, and where there is always more to explore.
