How do we say “goodbye” to Beta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi? A sisterhood and sorority in St. Martinville for 68 years with six current members and 100 plus former members.
Beta Sigma Phi, a cultural, service and social organization founded by Walter Ross over 90 years ago officially dissolved on June 29, 2026. We are sorry to see it go. However, time marches on.
From our friends in St. Martinville and throughout the parish and beyond who reached out to us through the years after reading our articles in the Teche News and meeting us in everyday life it felt as though we were taking them on an adventure with all of us in our programs and activities. Our members and former members thank you for sharing and going along with us on this remarkable journey.
