Pictured above, community leaders, educators, and literacy advocates gathered at the St. Martin Parish Library in Breaux Bridge on June 24 to celebrate the launch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of St. Martin Parish. This new initiative is a partnership between Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the St. Martin Parish School Board. The program serves children from birth through age 5, providing them with free, high-quality books delivered directly to their homes each month to promote early literacy. Since its launch in May, the program has enrolled over 279 children across St. Martin Parish. Donations to help sustain the program can be made at: https://donate. imaginationlibrary.com/?coun try=US&affid=LASTMARTIN. (Submitted)
