New bridge
Access roads to the new Bayou Teche bridge in Breaux Bridge awaited hard-surfacing back in August
1980. Construction was also underway on the realignment of La. 31/Berard Street and La. 94/Mills Avenue on the west side of the bayou. The view is looking east towards La. 328/ Rees Street. Note the crops along the roadway and lack of development at that time.
