At its June 17 meeting, the Saint Martinville French Table continued reading La Table des Veuves (The Widows’ Table), a play in Louisiana French by the Théâtre Cadien. The Table meets every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site. All speakers of Cajun, Creole and international French are welcome, beginners to native speakers. Admission is free.
