Robin pens new children’s book

Local musician nd author Clint Robin of Henderson has released his latest book, Maurice and T-Cleaux Go to Lafayette, a fun, silly adventure full of friendship, laughs, and a little swampy mischief!

Way down in the Louisiana swamp, Maurice the alligator and his tiny crawfish friend, TCleaux, spend their days relaxing in the peaceful waters of the Atchafalaya Basin. Life is calm and cozy—until one day, Maurice spots a train rushing by! Suddenly, he starts wondering what it would be like to visit the big, exciting city of Lafayette.

Before they know it, Maurice and T-Cleaux decide to leave the swamp and hop on an adventure they’ll never forget!

Inspired by the old trains that used to cross the swamp long ago, this story follows the two friends as they travel from their quiet bayou home to a busy, buzzing city. Along the way, they try tasty new foods, hear lively music, see lots of dancing, and discover all kinds of surprising things.

But city life isn’t always easy for swamp animals! Maurice and T-Cleaux find themselves in all sorts of funny trouble. Through it all, they learn about being brave, staying curious, and how important it is to stick together.

Full of humor, heart, and Louisiana charm, Maurice and T-Cleaux Go to Lafayette shows that trying new things can be exciting—and that adventures are always better with a good friend by your side.

Robin is a singersongwriter and storyteller known for Basin Country music - a blending of classic country and swamp pop with deep Cajun flair. Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Acadiana, he promotes culture through song and has written the children’s book, Maurice and T-Cleaux go to Lafayette.
