Stone Junkies
This Stone Junkies softball team from Parks placed third among 26 teams in a state tournament back in the summer of 1980. Team members included (kneeling from left) Charlie Dugas, Rodney Potier, Francis Benjamin, Earl Berard and Doby Hypolite. Second row, Shelton Joseph, Charles Morris, Roger Wiltz and Joseph Cornell. Back row, Julius Ambrose, Evans Ozen, Wilson Filer, Kenneth Potier, Alton Ambrose and David Thibodeaux. Other members not pictured were Miles Potier, Carol Hypolite, Filer Wiltz, Milton Potier, Michael Solarie, Lennis Phillips, Paul Filer, David Linden, Walter Dauphine, Chris Dugas, Richard Wiltz, Harold Broussard and Wilfred Dauphine.
