LIBRARY GROUNDBREAKING
LIBRARY GROUNDBREAKING – Officials from the St. Martin Parish Library, the Village of Parks and the St. Martin Parish Council were joined by supporters to break ground for the new Parks Branch of the St. Martin Parish Library this past Wednesday morning. The new library will be located adjacent to the Parks City Hall. Breaking ground from left were St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux, Parks Councilwomen Eva Potier and Yvonne Narcisse, Library Board of Control President Tommy Romero, Parks Mayor Kevin Kately, St. Martin Parish Library Director Charlar Brew, Parish President Pete Delcambre, Library Board member Chenita Broussard and St. Martin Parish Council members Vincent Alexander, Tangie Narcisse, David Poirier, Chris Tauzin and Carla JeanBatiste.
