Sixty French immersion kindergarten and 1st grade students from North Lewis Elementary in New Iberia visited Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site recently. The St. Martinville French Table welcomed the children with games and activities. Sue Thomas was among the participants who shared French books and pictures, while Danny Guidry, Gunther Meixner, Gayle Guidry and Clayton Melançon were among those who did writing and color ing in French with the students.
