The City of Breaux Bridge is one of 47 recipients of the 2025/2026 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Trash Receptacle Grant Program made possible with funding from the State of Louisiana and the Office of Lieutenant Governor.
In total, Keep Louisiana Beautiful was able to grant 230 receptacles to 47 organizations in 31 parishes.
The City of Breaux Bridge will install five trash receptacles at Parc Hardy Sports Complex located at Rees Street & Doucet Road.
With the new receptacles installed, litter will be reduced and the community will be kept clean and beautiful.
The purpose of the Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) Trash Receptacle Grant is to reduce litter in communities throughout Louisiana by providing high-quality trash receptacles for placement in outdoor public spaces. Data collected by KLB over the last several years shows a reduction of litter by 78% in areas where trash receptacles have been properly installed, serviced and maintained.
