The St. Martinville Garden Club has selected St. Martin Parish Government, 415 St. Martin St., as the recipient of its March Business Beautification Award. The property features snapdragons in a variety of colors; roses, flax lilies and blue rug juniper. The Club is affiliated with District III of the Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc., the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Residence of the month The home of John and Tonya Joseph at 102 S. Main St. has been chosen as the March Residential Beautification Award recipient by the St. Martinville Garden Club. Their property features a vibrant display white azaleas, Japanese magnolia, dwarf boxwood and a large Peggy Martin rose bush. Productive Work Day!
The St. Martinville Garden Club had a protective workday on Saturday as all planters and projects around the St. Martin de Tours Church square received some much-needed care. With a little help from a favorable breeze, the work was wrapped up just before the rain arrived.
