Breaux Bridge – Donations are being accepted to help a Breaux Bridge family of five whose house and all their belongings were destroyed in a fire Friday night on Hilda Street.
Family friend Natasha Pickens is collecting donations on behalf of the Batiste family.
The family is in need of clothing for all five family members in the following sizes: Boys’ Clothing:

• Women’s Size 9
• Men’s Size 10

Multiple fire departments responded to calls about the fire, including crews from Breaux Bridge, Henderson, Parks and Cecilia but they were unable to save the mobile home. The cause of the fire had not been determined as of Saturday and the fire remains under investigation.
