In a world and nation that is plagued with sin, unrest, greed, violence and many other evil activity and tragedies, prayer is in great need. There is no rest, no reprieve for the faithful. All good deeds are overrun by a society that knows no compromise, no patience, no peace. Corruption abounds with no sign of relief for the good.
It is our duty, our cause for the right in our country and in our world. Not an easy task, for certain. Yet to turn away from all the evil and to stand up for what is right is our duty as Christians. We need strong faith, courage and determination.
Our Saving Lord tells us “take my yoke upon you and learn from me and you will find rest, for my burden is light”.
May it awaken in us all the courage and the will to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ.
It’s never too late. Our world awaits us.
