Letters to the Editor are always welcome at the Teche News, but it is necessary for confirmation/identification purposes to include the author’s printed, name, signature and work/home telephone number on the original submission. While the Teche News does print the author’s name, it does not print telephone numbers or residence/business addresses unless such a request is made in writing concerning the letter. However, without a phone number to verify the letter, we can not print it.
No anonymous letters are published. Letters can be emailed to news@techetoday. com. Brevity is encouraged. 500 word limit. We no longer accept handwritten letters. Letters we deem as political copy may be placed as advertising. All letters are subject to editing.
