– The Rotary Club of St. Martinville proudly announces its 78th Annual Mardi Gras Ball, set for Saturday, February 14, at the Cade Community Center. This year’s theme, “A Night of Romance at Bridgerton,” promises an evening of elegance, music, and community celebration.

Tickets and reserved tables are now available to the public. To purchase, contact Michelle Broussard at 337-5232472. Individual tickets are also available.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with the presentation of the royal court in ornate costumes, followed by live music and dancing provided by 5th Avenue until midnight. A public dress rehearsal will take place on Friday, February 13, at 7 p.m. at the Cade Community Center. Admission for the rehearsal is $5.

Dukes of the 2026 Royal Court Brandt Babineaux, a 2025 Teurlings Catholic High School graduate, is the son of Martha and Mike Babineaux. He is pursuing a career as an electrician through the four-year training program at EP Breaux Electrical.

Chandler Hulin of St. Martinville is the son of Tonya and Jarett Hulin. A graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School, he attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) majoring in kinesiology and works at St. John Restaurant.

Drew Theriot of St. Martinville is the son of Chad and Lori Theriot. A Teurlings Catholic alumnus, he is a freshman at ULL majoring in electrical engineering and works with Thomassee and Associates.

Debutantes of the 2026 Royal Court Emma Boudreaux, daughter of Brandon and Lanie Boudreaux, is an honor graduate of Breaux Bridge Sr. High. She works at Bon Ami Pharmacy in Henderson while completing her pharmacy technician certification.

Kate Boudreaux, daughter of Luke and Christina Boudreaux, graduated from Breaux Bridge Sr. High and studies industrial design with a minor in architecture at ULL. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and works at Trove and Company.

Kelsi Camille, daughter of Kelly Camille and Lacy Buford of Catahoula, graduated from Teurlings Catholic High School and is pursuing a nursing degree at ULL. She is employed part-time at Pizza Village.

Ellie Durand, daughter of Rotarian Chris and Tonya Durand of St. Martinville, is an honor graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School. She attends ULL majoring in kinesiology and works as an administrative assistant with DTS Inc.

Sawyer Francois, is the daughter of Callie Fuselier and Nick Francois. She attends LSUE majoring in business and has plans to attend ULL after completing her course. She currently babysits for a local family.

Allene Elizabeth Martin, daughter of Daniel and Sandy Martin of St. Martinville, graduated from Highland Baptist Christian School with a 4.0 GPA. She attends Northwestern State University pursuing a B.S. in radiologic sciences and serves as a presidential ambassador.

Ali Theriot, daughter of Chad and Lori Theriot of St. Martinville, is a Teurlings Catholic High graduate and freshman at ULL majoring in strategic communications. She is a Dean’s List student, Phi Mu Sorority member, and employee of Caroline’s Cookies.

Ava Theriot, daughter of Micko and Nadine Theriot of Breaux Bridge, is a 2025 Teurlings Catholic High School graduate and freshman at ULL studying nursing. She is also a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

Kynlee Usie, daughter of Gary and Jennifer Usie, is a 2025 Teurlings Catholic High graduate currently majoring in marketing at ULL. She is active in Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.

The Rotary Club invites the community to celebrate this longstanding tradition of fellowship, service, and Mardi Gras pageantry.

Proceeds from this event benefit the youth and the elderly of our community.
