JANUARY – St. Martinville resident Brielle Casey helped usher in the new year as the January Bayou Belle. A graduate of St. Martinville High School, she is continuing her education at LSUE, majoring in radiologic technology. Brielle is the daughter of Jamie Montet.
FEBRUARY – Parys Prejean, daughter of Blane and Nikki Prejean, was our February Bayou Belle. A graduate of Cecilia High School, Parys is majoring in general studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
MAY – May’s Bayou Belle was Mia Landry of Breaux Bridge, daughter of Cheryl and Earl Landry. A graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School, Mia is pursuing a degree in pre-dental hygiene at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
JUNE – Our June Bayou Belle was Abby Poché, daughter of Casey and Kristy Poché of Catahoula.
A graduate of Loreauville High School, Abby planned to attend LSU-Alexandria to major in business administration.
JULY – Jordi Resweber of St. Martinville was our July Bayou Belle. The daughter of Chris and Heidi Resweber, Jordi is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in marketing with a minor in entrepreneurship.
AUGUST – August’s Bayou Belle was Tatum Elizabeth Doré, daughter of Derek and Susan Doré of Breaux Bridge. A graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School, Tatum attends Ole Miss, majoring in biomedical engineering on a pre-med track with aspirations of becoming an anesthesiologist.
SEPTEMBER – Our September Bayou Belle was Ellie Elizabeth Durand of St. Martinville. The daughter of Chris and Tonya Durand, Ellie is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and now attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science (pre-professional studies).
OCTOBER – Bella Clark, daughter of Blaine and Ashley Clark of Cecilia, was our October Bayou Belle. A graduate of Cecilia High School, Bella attends LSUE, majoring in dental hygiene.
NOVEMBER – The November Bayou Belle was Halen Theriot of St. Martinville. Halen, the daughter of Andrew and Cheria Theriot, is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and currently attends McNeese State University, majoring in mass communications with a focus on sports and media marketing.
DECEMBER – Our December Bayou Belle was Adalie Frederick, the 18-year-old daughter of Allison Frederick and the late Keree Frederick.
A senior at Cecilia High School, Adalie plans to attend Louisiana State University after graduation to pursue a bachelor’s degree in leadership and human resource development.
