Beta Rho tours “tiny” home for Dec. meet

Beta Rho chapter held their December 8 meeting when members toured the “tiny home” of Kelly Hulin. A program on The Art of Decorating: Principles of Art in the Home was presented. Chair of the program was Bobbie Theriot.

Members enjoyed touring the 854-square-foot home built in 2024. The home includes multi levels showcasing a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, guestroom and laundry room as well as a patio and front porch. A highlight is the handcrafted wood vanity built by her father, Gros Hulin completed from a tree that once stood in the yard of her childhood home just a short distance away. A wonderful memory of days gone by.

The home showcased the traditional cozy, nostalgic blending of farmhouse charm in Christmas colors of red, green and white. A special addition was the focusing of heartfelt vintage Fabrique Santa’s as well as a cherished nativity from her mother’s childhood which welcomed a peaceful holiday feel.

Members agreed the home is a perfect place to celebrate the season creating a gratitudefilled home with handmade touches which told a personal story of love and connection during the holidays.

President Lynnie Bienvenu conducted the business meeting at the conclusion of the program and called on committee chair to give reports on the final activities for the 2025 sorority year.

Program chair Bobbie Theriot announced the next meeting will be held on December 16 as members will present a program on New Year’s Day.

Adopted Family chair Shirley Fuselier announced the chapter continues to support a local family monthly.

Christmas social chair Elaine Case announced the chapter will celebrate the annual event on December 16.

Members present for the meeting were President Lynnie Bienvenu, Shirley Fuselier, Elaine Case, Arleen Oubre, Louella Champagne and Bobbie Theriot.
