All her life, Kelly Hulin dreamed of creating a tiny home that reflected her style and story. In 2023, she sold her Breaux Bridge home and began building that dream on Germain Street, the road where she grew up. Surrounded by family, each day now feels like a reunion.
Completed in 2024, Kelly’s two-story, 854-square-foot home includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main level features the living room, kitchen, guest room, bathroom, and laundry area. A highlight is the handcrafted wood vanity her father, Gros Hulin, built from a tree that once stood in her childhood yard. Upstairs, her primary suite offers a calm, bohemian-inspired retreat with natural textures and an earthy palette.
This Christmas, her home will take on a traditional farmhouse charm decorated in reds, greens, and whites, with vintage Fabriche Santas and a cherished white nativity set from her mother’s childhood.
