The St. Martin Council on Aging will host its annual Christmas Luncheon on December 11 at the Cade Community Center. The event, sponsored by Sheriff Becket Breaux and the St. Martin Parish Sheriff Department, will begin at 9:00 a.m. (doors open at 8:00). There will be a light continental breakfast, lots of door prizes, and a delicious lunch. Attendees can also look forward to playing bingo and receiving valuable information from various healthcare agencies. There will be caroling by the students of Louisiana Christian School and musical entertainment by Eazley Babineaux (DJ Boogie Boi). Vaccinations for COVID, flu, pneumonia, and RSV will be available.
This is a non-alcohol event. Registration is open to the first 300 seniors who reside in St. Martin Parish. Transportation will be provided. However, rides must be scheduled two days in advance. Contact the Council on Aging at 3323063 to register or to receive more information.
