St. Martinville – A 36-year-old St. Martinville man was arrested on Monday, Oct. 20, following an investigation into allegations of a sexual assault. St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux said that on Monday, Aug. 4, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding a suspected sexual assault.
Following the investigation into the allegations, an arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect, identified as Wade Devillier, 36, of St. Martinville.

• LA R.S.14:43 — Third Degree Rape — (Felony) (3 counts).
Following his arrest, Devillier was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
No bond has been set.
