Sheriff’s Office asking for public’s help with boat and trailer theft

Breaux Bridge – Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in reference to a boat and trailer theft in the St. Martinville area.

On Tuesday, Sept. 30, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a boat and trailer theft at a residence in the 1200 block of Burton Plantation Highway in St. Martinville.

The investigators learned that a 16-foot homemade aluminum boat with a Pro-Drive CX37, 37-horsepower outboard motor, and a homemade aluminum trailer, painted red, were stolen from the residence at approximately 1:50 a.m. that morning.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information regarding the theft of this boat and trailer to please report it to St. Martin Crime Stoppers by calling (337) 441-3030 or via the P3 T ips App.

All tipsters remain anonymous and if your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.
