BBPD detectives request assistance regarding theft

Detectives with the Breaux Bridge Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects wanted for a theft of a purse from a local restaurant.

On February 12, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the victim left her purse on a chair at a local fast-food restaurant in the 1800 block of Rees Street. A female and a male subject, as seen in the attached photos, were seated at a nearby table when the victim left the restaurant. Shortly after the victim left, the female and male subjects are seen moving to the table where the victim left her purse. A short time later, the female subject is seen placing the victim’s purse inside her purse and exiting the restaurant.
