Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans was the setting for the wedding of Morgan Boggs and Coy Duplantis.
Father Anthony McGinn officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Parents of the bride are Paul and Beth Boggs of Loreauville. The groom’s parents are Danny and Suzy Duplantis, also of Loreauville.
The bride is the granddaughter of Peggy Bienvenu and Jimmy Boggs of St. Martinville; and Herman and Amaryllis Walet of Loreauville. Larry and Nancy Duplantis of St. Martinville; and Terry and Kay Dooley of Loreauville are grandparents of the groom.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an elegant Gwinn gown by Justin Alexander. The strapless charmeuse fit-andflare design featured a softly draped scoop neckline. Distinctive details included charmeuse- covered buttons that trailed gracefully down the back of the gown, extending to the start of a godet on the chapellength train, adding refined visual interest. Subtle ruching and pleating enhanced the gown’s tailored fit and fluid movement.
Grace Boggs La-Grange was her sister’s maid of honor. Also attending the bride were Sloane Judice, Kelci Bodin, Megan DeJean, Brooke Bodin, Neely Borel, sister of the groom; Alexis Dartez. Jenea Derouen, Anna Dartez and Blanche Gallagher.
Collin Guidry, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Drake Bodin, Nick Hebert, Shaw Guillotte, Landon La-Grange, brotherin- law of the bride; Aidan Dooley, Trace Waguespack, Nevin Landry and Chris Borel, the groom’s brother-in-law.
David Barras, the bride’s great-uncle; and Claire Dooley, the groom’s aunt were readers for the ceremony.
Offeratory gift bearers were Molly Landry Foreman and Avery Landry Geoffroy, cousins of the bride.
Lori Theriot, cousin of the bride, was the Eucharistic Minister.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the NOPSI Hotel, New Orleans.
