The St. Martin Parish Council presented a proclamation to Chez Hope St. Martin Parish Advocate Kelli Cantu after Parish President Pete Delcambre signed a resolution from the council declaring October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month in the parish. Chez Hope provides emergency services, emergency housing, support services and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence in St. Martin, Iberia, St. Mary and Assumption parishes.
