St. Martinville – Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in reference to a July burglary.
On the afternoon of Saturday, July 19, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary at a resi- dence in the 1100 block of Lady of the Lake Road in St. Martinville.
Investigators learned that a safe containing several items, along with additional stolen items with an approximate value of $62,000, was taken from the home sometime between July 12 and July 19. Many of the items hold deep sentimental value for the victims.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the location of the items taken during the burglary, or who can identify the suspect, to report it to St. Martin Crime Stoppers by calling (337) 441-3030 or using the P3 Tips App.
