St. Martinville – Two St. Martinville men were arrested on a variety of narcotics charges on Tuesday, Aug. 26, following an investigation by deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Task Force, Sheriff Becket Breaux said on Friday.
Deputies executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1000 block of Cypress Lane in St. Martinville.
A search of the property was conducted that yielded over one pound of Cocaine, 38.23 grams of crack cocaine, 100 grams of suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Andrew Aubrey, 52, of St. Martinville, was arrested on the following charges:
• LA R.S. 40:967A Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Cocaine);
• LA R.S. 40:967A Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Crack Cocaine);
• LA R.S. 40:966A Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I (Marijuana);
• LA R.S. 40:983 Clandestine Laboratory;
• and LA R.S. 40:1023C Drug Paraphernalia Jaswin Owens, 34, of St. Martinville, was arrested on the following charges:
• LA R.S. 40:967A Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Cocaine) LA R.S. 40:983 Clandestine Laboratory;


Narcotic
• LA R.S. 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice/ Evidence Tapering;
• LwA R.S. 14:108 Resisting an Officer;
• and LA R.S. 40:1023C Drug Paraphernalia.
Following their arrest, they were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
