Raymond Latiolais of St. Martin Parish was one of 12 honorees inducted into the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony held Aug. 9 at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center in Pollock, Louisiana.

Latiolais has devoted nearly five decades to advancing the St. Martin Parish 4-H program. A former 4-H member, he grew from club officer to project leader, principal, and eventually President of the St. Martin Parish 4-H Foundation. His leadership at St. Bernard School helped generate some of the highest club enrollment numbers in the parish. Under his guidance, the Foundation evolved into a vital fundraising and advisory force, supporting countless initiatives including 4-H fun days, workshops, and major events. His visionary strategies, such as launching a donation QR code and growing the alumni network, have transformed local support.

His dedication extends beyond 4-H, as a community leader at St. Rita Catholic Church and St. Bernard School Foundation. Through financial stewardship, advocacy, and unrelenting belief in youth development, Latiolais has left an enduring mark on generations of 4-Hers in St.

Martin Parish.
