Garden of the Month - The St. Martinville Garden Club beautification award for August Residence of the Month has been awarded to Dickie and Amy Borel, 116 E. Madison St., St. Martinville. The Borel’s have a beautiful variety of pink Crepe Myrtle supporting a lush, variegated Baby Sun Rose hanging basket, white vinca, Sunshine Ligustrum, Pittosporim, and Flax lily. (Submitted)
Business of the Month - The St. Martinville Garden Club has awarded the club beautification award for the Business of the Month for August to The Evangeline Rose Bed & Breakfast. Located at 117 New Market Street, the street side landscaping offers potted Boston ferns, boxwood hedges, white Crepe Myrtle, and pink and yellow lantana. The St Martinville Garden Club is a member of District III, Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden. (Submitted)
