Bayouside Commercial
Well over a hundred cameramen, technicians, professional actors and local extras swarmed over the picturesque bayouside grounds of the Charlene Chataignier home just south of St. Martinville in August 2000 for the filming of a Hillshire Farms TV commercial. The commercial was one of several being filmed around the country focusing on the use of Hillshire products in ethnic cooking. Local musicians from the Cecilia area as well as a number of parish residents had parts in the commercial,
