St. Martin Parish received nearly 8 inches of rain last Friday due to storms that caused significant road closures and drainage issues in the area. Among the closures were Old Spanish Trail Hwy between Smede Hwy and Duchamp Rd. and Petroleum Pwky. Pictured above is Main Street, St. Martinville taken from the Teche News office.
